Kottkamp Wins Brevard County REC Straw Poll

Cape Canaveral, FL - Lieutenant Governor Jeff Kottkamp continues to capitalize on momentum gained in previous weeks by winning another county-wide Republican Executive Committee straw poll. The Brevard County REC held a straw poll tonight at its annual Lincoln Day Dinner at the Radisson at the Cape in Cape Canaveral.

This straw poll victory comes on the heels of being endorsed by the Charlotte County REC, winning the Republican Business Council straw poll, as well as handily defeating his Republican counterparts at the Florida Federation of College Republicans straw poll held at the University of Central Florida two weeks ago.

Brevard County, known as being strongly conservative, consists of over 150,000 registered Republicans. Lieutenant Governor Kottkamp knows the area well; he co-Chairs Space Florida and has worked tirelessly to bring Space tourism to Central Florida.

"Brevard County is like a second home to me, the passion that they have regarding the Space Program is inspirational. I am honored to have them supporting me to become Florida's next Attorney General," said Kottkamp.
